life's little successes

Hey y'all, e here.

It's been another rainy/cloudy day here! However, us Sara's have been out making the very best of it. We have had a lot of "little successes" today.

We got a late start this morning. Spending the morning eating breakfast & discussing the news and our emails.
(yes I have gotten into reading about the news since being out here. I think it makes me feel closer to my people knowing what is going on back home... Plus it was my New Year's Resolution to be more connected to world events. Also trying to keep up with D, she's great at this)

Did you guys hear about that cruise ship?? Or the crazy ex-cop in LA? Craziness.

D also got the best news from her dad, it's time to start booking hostels/travel plans for our Europe adventures. 6 weeks until we go!! (: D's dad has been the best & has planned the majority of our trip, we are both so grateful. I always tell D I feel like part of the Drury family... it's amazing. What a great family!!

If that wasn't enough good for the day, as we were eating we got a package!!!

It was from my sweet valentine (:

He included all my favorite snacks & a v-day love letter that smells like him (my fav scent in the world)

After all this excitement, our day just kept getting better! 

We decided to ride our bike's out to Mumbles & just explore. After riding up a couple big hills we locked our bikes up & wandered through the streets- window shopping & stopping in to get warm.

We saw our first castle up close! Oystermouth Castle

& stopped at a cute cafe for tea & coffee of course.

Perhaps our biggest success of the day was finding this chocolate shop, which had dairy & gluten free chocolate for D. of course E got a few chocolate's as well. It also had the cutest & sweetest owners who took this adorable picture! Definitely 5 stars!

All in all it has been another great day for The Sara's. 

Now we're off to get to planning our European adventures! Happy Tuesday everyone!
